Our main cases

INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

Alliansys is a company focused on the implementation of corporate applications, such as Field Service & Customer Experience, IoT solutions (Add on the web). In this particular project, we carried out the analysis and development of a system to monitor the level of filling of waste containers and transmit the information to a central station, so that the routes of the fleet could be optimally allocated. The project was carried out in collaboration with the company Alliansys SA and was financed, in part, by the Zero Phase Funding tool of the Sadosky Foundation.

DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW LINE OF EQUIPMENT WITH CUSTOM IC

Penta is the main Argentine  manufacturer of equipment for quality control and machines protection. In order to increase the technological level of its line of metal detectors for the industry, a custom integrated circuit to improve their performance was designed together with researchers from TEAC. The project was funded in part by the Argentine Nanotechnology Foundation and the European Economic Community.

DEVELOPMENT OF A NETWORK OF METEOROLOGICAL STATIONS

Bolsa de Cereales y Productos de Bahía Blanca” (BCP) provides its members, among other services, with information related to meteorology, from records of rainfall, temperature, humidity and wind. With the objective of improving the quality of the available information, we designed a network of meteorological stations strategically located in agricultural fields in the southeast of the province of Buenos Aires with the capacity to transmit data in real time to a central base that can then be consulted by the interested parties. The project was funded in part by the Technological Modernization Program of the MinCyT.

TEAC – EMTECH SPACE DEVELOPMENTS PROJECT

In the framework of the public and open call of the Ministry of Science and Technology for the development of national parts for satellites, we were selected for the execution of Project PE-SAT IO-0001 consisting of the development of an input-output module for a satellite on board computer. To this end, a Public Private Associative Consortium was formed between UNS and EMTECH SA.

The Project has a budget of $ 10,817,000 and contemplates the construction of a laboratory with a clean room in the city of Bahía Blanca during the year 2019.

INTERNET OF THINGS SYSTEM PLATFORM ORIENTED TO THE PRODUCTIVE SECTOR

An internal project (P-UE 22920170100103CO) was obtained, financed by CONICET and the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Promotion. In this project we propose to combine the knowledge among research in electronic systems, low consumption electronics, communications and control, with the aim in the generation of prototypes of high value-added technological products that are strategic for the future for commercial developments. As a starting point, we propose the deployment of an IoT urban pilot platform with the TEAC project member companies in the physical area in the city of Bahía Blanca.

DESIGN OF COMPONENTS AND INTEGRATED CIRCUITS FOR FLEXIBLE ELECTRONICS

Within the framework of the public and open call of the Ministry of Science and Technology, we were selected for the execution of the PICT Project 2017-2526 consisting of the development of components, devices and integrated circuits for the development of Flexible Electronics. To this end, a collaboration was proposed with the High Density Electronics Center of the University of Arkansas (https://wordpressua.uark.edu/hidec/capabilities/flexible-hybrid-electronics/), the National Technological University FRBA and the Argentine Foundation of Nanotechnology. The objective is to develop the basic elements of flexible electronics so that local companies can take advantage of them for commercial developments.
